The Education and Outreach Department of the Heartland Bible Methodist Connection of Churches exist on a Conference level for the purpose of promoting both the education and outreach ministries within the context of the local Church.

The Department philosophy
A Growing Sunday School is a T. E. A. M. effort.

• Teaching believers the Word of God
  
• Evangelizing unbelievers through the ministry of the Sunday School
  
• Activating the membership of the Church
  
• Ministering to the Community.
  

The Sunday School provides a forum for the local Church to accomplish these objectives.

The biblical basis for this Philosophy of Ministry is II Timothy 2:2 ...the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
