Dr. Michael Avery
Dr. Michael R. Avery is the General Connectional Chairman of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. Ordained in 1981, He has served the church as a Pastor (10 years), Alabama Conference Vice-President (5 years) and General Missions Secretary (5 years). He was President of God’s Bible School and College for 22 years and now serves a Chancellor. He is President of Deeper Life Ministries, a non-profit religious organization committed to growing believers in Christlikeness through directed spiritual formation. He holds degrees from God’s Bible School and College, Cincinnati Christian University and Wesley Biblical Seminary (honoris causa). He maintains an active schedule of speaking in camp meetings, revivals, conventions, and conferences. He is the co-author of the books for youth, The Journey, and The Call – Essays for the Conservative Holiness Movement. He and his wife Ruth have two married sons and six grandchildren.
Rev. Jack Hooker
Rev. Jack Hooker is the General Connectional Vice-Chairman of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He is a graduate of God’s Bible School and College and was ordained in 1977. He has served as pastor for 36 years in Indiana, Florida, Alabama, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. For seven years he served as Vice-President for Advancement at God’s Bible School and College. He presently serves GBSC as a member of the Board of Trustees and has held that office for thirteen years. He has served the Alabama and Heartland Conferences in various capacities. Presently, he is the Conference Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the Heartland Conference. He and his wife Jane have two married daughters and four grandchildren.

Rev. John Parker
Rev. John D. Parker is the Conference President of the Alabama Conference of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. John is the eldest of ten children of a retired Bible Methodist Pastor in the Alabama Conference. Some of John’s earliest recollections as a child are conference events all the way back in Wesleyan Methodist days. John is a 1978 graduate of God’s Bible School and College and married to a fellow ’78 GBS Graduate, Catherine (Horrall) Parker. They have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. John and Cathy have served the Bible Methodists as Church Planters, Pastor, Missions Director and General Evangelist as well as in Conference Leadership across 39 years of ministry.

Rev. Deron Fourman
Rev. Deron E. Fourman is the Vice President of the Heartland Conference of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. A graduate of God’s Bible School and College in 1990 and ordained in 1992, he has been with the Heartland Conference the entire 27 years of his pastoral ministry. Deron served as Heartland Youth Camp President for 11 years. He has served the Connection as the General Treasurer since 2006 and as the General Mission’s Treasurer since 2013. Deron is currently pastoring full time in Port Clinton, Ohio, pursuing his Master’s Degree in Ministry from GBS, and training to be a police chaplain for the local Sheriff. He and his wife Kimberly have been married since 1988, and have 3 children.

Rev. Tim Keep
Rev. Timothy Keep graduated from Hobe Sound Bible College (FL) with a BA in Intercultural Studies in 1993 and from Wesleyan Graduate School (Philippines) with an MA in Pastoral Theology in 2005. He was ordained by the Bible Methodist Church in 1995. Tim and his wife, Rebecca, pastored for 5 years in the USA and served for 13 years as missionaries to the Philippine Islands with the Bible Methodist Church. Much of his ministry in the Philippines involved training and equipping pastors and spiritual leaders as well as helping advance the gospel through the promotion of church planting. In 2009-2010 he taught in the Intercultural Department at God’s Bible School and College.
Tim has served as the General Missions Director for the Bible Methodist Church since 2010. He is also the founder and President of Shepherd’s Global Classroom. He has co-authored two books with his wife, Eyes to See: Glimpses of God in the Dark, and It’s All About Obedience.
Tim and Becky have been married for 29 years. They have 5 children and 2 grandchildren.

Mr. Nathan Brown
Mr. Nathan Brown is the Discipleship Director of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He has served as Adult Sunday School teacher in various churches for over 15 years. Presently, he is the Executive Director of comeafterme.com, an internet-based ministry devoted to providing guidance and materials for those involved in discipleship. The mission of comeafterme.com is to assist the church in carrying out Christ’s command to go and make disciples. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a co-author of the book for youth, The Journey. He and his wife Charity have a daughter, Kathryn, and a son, Alex.
Rev. G. Clair Sams
Rev. G. Clair Sams, is editor of The Bible Methodist and manages the media for The Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He is a graduate of Bible Missionary Institute and God’s Bible School and College where he earned a BA Ministerial Education. He was ordained in 1969 and his ministry has included Heartland Conference President (16 years), Pastoral experience (30 Years), served on several missions fields in short term mission ministry, he founded and served as president of Mission Focus, served on Society of Indian Missions Canada board as well as various other board and committees. Clair is presently leading “Let’s Pray” prayer conferences, and is active speaking in camp meetings, revivals and weekends in local churches. He and Melba have four children, fifteen grand children and eight great grandchildren.
