Discipleship
Making Disciples Who Follow Jesus
Jesus calls the Church not simply to make converts, but to make disciples: believers who know Him, obey His Word, grow in holiness, and help others follow Him.
The Bible Methodist Connection of Churches is committed to equipping local churches, families, and individuals for that work. The resources gathered here offer practical tools for every stage of discipleship—from establishing new believers in the faith to developing mature Christians, teachers, and ministry leaders.

Foundational Discipleship

NewStart Discipleship provides churches with practical tools for walking alongside new and growing Christians. Church subscription options are also available for congregations that want to make these resources part of their ongoing ministry.

BIBLICAL & MINISTRY TRAINING
Free biblical and theological training for pastors, leaders, and growing disciples.
Discipleship includes not only helping new believers establish strong foundations, but also equipping Christians to understand Scripture, serve the Church, and lead others faithfully. Shepherds Global Classroom provides Christ-centered biblical and theological curriculum that churches can use to train pastors, lay leaders, ministry workers, and other believers who desire deeper preparation for Christian service.
Courses cover areas such as biblical studies, Christian doctrine, evangelism and discipleship, spiritual formation, Christian leadership, worship, and church history. Materials can be studied individually or used by a local church to create its own training class or ministry institute.
The curriculum is available free of charge, can be downloaded and printed for local use, and is available in many languages—making it a valuable resource both for local congregations and global ministry.
Whether your church wants to offer a single course, develop leaders through a regular training class, or establish a more comprehensive ministry-training program, Shepherds Global Classroom provides a strong foundation on which to build.

EVERYDAY DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship in the Home
Helping parents make disciples throughout everyday life.
Some of the most important discipleship happens in the home. Developed with Dr. Matt Friedeman, Discipleship in the Home gives parents practical tools for helping their children know Scripture, follow Jesus, and develop a lifelong faith.
The goal is simple: help families make meaningful spiritual conversations and family discipleship a natural part of everyday life.
Victory Over Pornography
Biblical and practical help for pursuing freedom and purity.
Victory Over Pornography provides Christian men with biblical teaching and practical tools for overcoming pornography through repentance, accountability, renewed thinking, spiritual disciplines, and continued growth in Christ.
It is designed not merely around stopping a destructive behavior, but around pursuing lasting spiritual transformation and freedom.
Habits Masterclass
Replace destructive patterns with habits that support spiritual growth.
Our habits shape much of our daily lives. The Habits Masterclass combines video teaching and workbook exercises to help Christians understand how habits form, identify unhealthy patterns, and intentionally establish healthier routines.
Practical principles are considered through a biblical lens to help believers build patterns that support faithful Christian living.
Discipleship Begins Everywhere
Discipleship is more than a church program. It is the lifelong process of following Jesus and helping others follow Him. In the local church, discipleship gives people clear next steps toward spiritual maturity and ministry. In the home, parents intentionally pass biblical faith to the next generation through Scripture, conversation, prayer, and example. In ministry and leadership, disciples deepen their understanding of Scripture and Christian doctrine so they can faithfully teach, serve, and equip others. In our personal lives, we continue learning to obey Jesus, practice spiritual disciplines, pursue holiness, and become increasingly like Christ. And as disciples mature, they learn to invest in others—so that disciples make disciples.
